Hebrews 12:1-2 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- Anything I can do with my wife!
- Cedar Point! I love roller coasters and there is not a better park for roller coster enthusiast.
- Basketball! I love to watch it (when I can), but I love playing it even more. Though it seem to be getting harder and harder to find time to play.
- If I am talking food then I have to say Mac & Cheese, but it is really anything pasta.
- Dessert is in its own category. My favorite dessert is definitely cheese cake!
I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. My parents started going to a Baptist church there when I was seven. My parents were not perfect, but they always made sure that my sister and I were in church and that they never got in the way of what God was doing. When I was thirteen years old my parents sent me to camp with my church. It was there that God took away the distractions of the world and brought me under great conviction. I knew I was a sinner and I knew where my sin was leading me. On June 12, 2001, I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ to forgive my sin.
I would like to say that I served God with my entire heart all the way through my teenage years, but I did not. It was a struggle for me and for my family. Even though I struggled, God still wanted to use me and through many different circumstances that God used in my life, He directed me to go to Bible college. It was at Bible college that God really got my attention. I knew that I needed to live whole heartedly for the Lord.
After Bible college I spent several years helping in a couple different churches. In 2015 God allowed me to go on staff at my home church. While there, God allowed me to serve in many different aspects of the ministry. It was while I was there that I met the girl of my dreams. God allowed us to marry in March of 2018.
A little while before my wife and I got married, we began praying about what God would have us to do in the future. Within a months time, through many answered prayers, God revealed to us that He was leading us here, to Harvest Baptist Temple. God had given us such peace about it that we began making plans to move even before we had been offered the positions. We are very excited about the opportunity to serve the Lord here at HBT.
